Coronavirus Information

Gilmer County Schools will be closed until further notice.  Non-traditional Instructional Day packets will begin on March 19, 2020.  A calendar as to how to complete these activities is available below to provide guidance.

Meal Delivery Plan

Food delivery plan for Gilmer County Schools: 

Until farther notice, Mondays will be a pick-up drive thru option only at Gilmer Elementary from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM. We will continue to ask parents, neighbors, care givers, and etc. to use the parent pick up loop and remain in their vehicles.  The boxes of mass meals, including 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches will be brought to their vehicle.  Again, Monday’s will be our meal Pick up day.

Wildcat Information

Flu Shots are available at School Based Health. Please stop by the SBH Office to pick up a consent form and schedule an appointment.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact SBH at 462-3415.

Snow Day Packets will begin after the fifth canceled day of school.  An announcement will be made on the School Messenger calling system to help determine what Snow Packet activity to complete.
