🚍 Preschool Bus Safety Training 🚍
This week, our preschool students participated in a bus safety training led by our dedicated drivers, Jean McCune and Rebecca Wright. Students learned the importance of safe riding practices, including how to sit properly on the bus, enter and exit safely, and follow important safety procedures.
We are grateful to our transportation staff for taking the time to ensure our youngest learners begin their school experience with a strong foundation in safety. Their commitment to student well-being is deeply appreciated. #GoGilmer #LoveMyWVSchool

🐾GCES Wildcats: Week At-A-Glance🐾

🎨✨ Our Wildcats celebrated creativity with a schoolwide art project inspired by The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds! In the story, Vashti believes she can’t draw until her teacher encourages her to “make her mark.” That one small dot grows into confidence, creativity, and endless possibilities. Under the guidance of our wonderful art teacher, Mrs. Chapman, students embraced this message by creating their own colorful dots. Now our hallways are filled with unique artwork that reminds us all to be brave, creative, and to make our mark! #GoGilmer #LoveMyWVSchool

🍧❄️ Last Friday, our Wildcats enjoyed a sweet treat....snow cones - just for being at school! 💙🤍 It was the perfect way to celebrate attendance and kick off the weekend. Way to go, Wildcats! #GoGilmer
