Due to inclement weather, the Gilmer County Elementary School 2nd and 3rd grade exhibition basketball game will now be held on Tuesday, 2/10/2026, starting at 5:30PM. Players are encouraged to arrive at 5:00PM.
All Gilmer County Schools will be dismissing 3-Hours early on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 due to expected inclement weather.
GC Math Field Day Winners for Gilmer County Schools will be recognized at the February 23rd BOE Meeting. They were to be recognized at the January 26th meeting; we will delay this recognition until Feb. 23rd. Thank you.

All four teams battled it out yesterday in a single-elimination tournament—Black, White, Royal Blue, and Light Blue gave it their all!
The Black Team and White Team advanced to the championship game, and after a hard-fought matchup, White came out on top! 🏆
