🌟CONGRATULATIONS🌟 to Mrs. Frashure's 5th Grade Math Class for receiving the Superintendent's GOAT Award. Mrs. Frashure has been implementing the teaching method, "Building a Thinking Classroom." This model creates a thinking-centered math classroom that involves encouraging exploration, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Students are constantly engaging in group discussions and incorporating open-ended questions to solve problems and deepen their mathematical skills. Recently, these students have applied their knowledge of multiplying and dividing decimals to solve a real-world task about finding the cheapest way to buy pizza for a large group. They continue to work hard everyday to build a thinking classroom. #GoGilmer
